Join us Jan 29 at 2:00 pm for our Sewing 101 workshop. A great way to be sustainable is to not throw away old clothing that may have holes or damaged. They can be repurposed into a quilt. At the end of the year, you can gift it or homeless shelters or animal shelters would be more than happy to take them!
This workshop is great for anyone age 12 and over who would like to learn how to hand-stitch and the basics of making a quilt top. All materials included will be enough to make a 70 x 90 quilt Workshop time lasts 2 hours. You may stay the entire time to work, but you won’t be able to finish it all. But you will have all materials to take with you to finish at your leisure.
Note: As a move to be as sustainable as possible, we choose repurposed fabric.
Join us again in August to learn how to quilt and finish your piece.
No refunds on class spots if you can’t attend or miss. You may transfer your spot to someone else. Just contact us to let us know who will be attending in your place.
