Where are you located?

Lemon & Lavender is located at 16 Main Street, downtown Madison, in the big yellow house. Our specialty shop is in the first room on the right when you open the door. 

 

Where does your Kona coffee come from, and is it a blend or 100% authentic?

Not only is our Kona coffee 100% authentic but also USDA organic. It comes from the Hala Tree Plantation located on the big island in Hawaii. 

 

How are your home decor items “sustainable”?

We strive to the best of our ability to source our wooden furniture from vendors who utilize mango and bamboo wood. Mango wood specifically reaches maturity in 15 years. At which time it no longer produces fruit, so it becomes the perfect source to utilize for furniture pans home decor pieces. Bamboo is also a quick growing source to utilize. 

 

Can you do custom orders on your artisan boards?

Absolutely, reach out to us via email at sales@lemonandlavendermadison.com and we are happy to guide you in selecting and creating your perfect custom board. 

 

What are some of your consistent customer favorites?

Our shower steamers, dough bowl candles, and Kona coffee are three of our most popular products. 

 

Where do you source your products?

In searching for the perfect products for our store, we search for vendors who offer products that utilize resources as close to their original source as possible. For example, our European soaps from the south of France specialize in lavender and sea salt that is sourced locally. Our Food for Thought preserves use produce that they also grow. Our maple syrup comes straight from Vermont!

 

Do you offer Sezzle?

Yes! For those not familiar with Sezzle, it allows you to manage your purchase into simple monthly payments that makes it easier to budget. 

 

What products do you specialize in?

We focus on gourmet kitchen, luxury bath, and sustainable home decor. We strive to the best of our ability for all products to be as natural and as organic as possible. 

 

Do you carry local items?

While many of our items are sourced from outside our region, we do with work a local artisan who hand makes our artisan cutting and charcuterie boards. These are definitely our unique specialty item that are all one-of-a-kind that you can find elsewhere. 

 

Do you ever host special events?

Yes! Every first Friday of each month we stay open till 8:00 pm for evening shopping. We always have something a little extra going on outside too from live music to corn hole to a pop-up vendor. We also offer classes regularly. Our current most popular is our charcuterie class. Visit us on Facebook for times and details.
